GET YOUR FAA MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
Before starting your helicopter or airplane flight training career, it’s always a good idea to get your medical certificate. While your medical isn’t required until you solo the aircraft, the FAA is the ultimate decision maker on whether you are capable of flying or not. If you are undergoing the flight training program with Klamath Community College, or utilizing your veteran’s benefits, you will be required to obtain a Second Class Medical Certificate. All other forms of training will require a third class Medical Certificate. The cost of the examination is generally between $150-$250.

THAT BEING SAID, WELCOME TO OREGON: IT’S ABOUT THE JOURNEY AS MUCH AS THE DESTINATION
We can try to show the magnitude of a mountain vista or the quiet bliss of a hot spring. But truth is, you really have to be here to get it. Made up of seven diverse regions, Oregon has the ocean, mountains, valleys, high desert, cities, small towns, and almost everything in between.
We realize life is to be lived beyond the cockpit. Monthly Taco Tuesday give students and employees a chance to make friends and network over food and drinks. We enjoy our mission here. We approach work with a high play drive and believe the right attitude brightens the day and boosts productivity.
